As of July 2025, we have 19 alpacas! 7 boys, and 12 girls.

We feed them Orchard Grass in feeders that they can access 24/7. They also graze over 5+ acres and are fed 1 cup of Masuri Alpaca pellets daily. Fun Fact! 10 alpacas eat about as much as 1 horse.

Alpacas are smaller, fluffier, and bred for their soft, luxurious fleece. Llamas are larger, with longer faces and banana-shaped ears, and are often used as pack animals. While both are part of the camelid family and can spit, alpacas are generally more gentle and herd-oriented.
